The most awaited release for this year and one of Bollywood’s biggest film is finally out in the open and so is the verdict for the film. The reviews for the film are quite mixed as the film enchants you and exhausts you at the same time. Once the slowly blooming romance between the lovers reaches its consummation point, the movie begins to drag.
There are some brilliant performances by Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. The music of the film by AR Rehman, needless to say is excellent and gradually grows on you through the course of the film.
At its core, ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ is a romantic love story and except for a few shoddy and spineless sequences in the film, ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ is an engaging watch.

The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai was supposed to record a devotional song in her own voice in the upcoming mega release ‘Jodha Akbar’. Composer A R Rahman confirmed saying, "Ashutosh Gowarikar (Director of the film) strongly felt that Aishwarya could record the song in her own voice, as a bonus for her fans." Unfortunately Ash was extremely busy and did not find time to record when Rahman was available.

Salman Khan joined the A-list of heroes at Madame Tussaud's museum, unveiling a wax double of himself before hundreds of adoring fans. Salman's muscular statue was dressed in a black sleeveless T-shirt and black denims, donated by the star.
Taking a light-hearted dig at his fellow-Mumbai stars, Salman said: "Very few Indians have the privilege and it feels good to be a part of it. We have Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya, Shah Rukh and I think I am the third most deserving in the museum."

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan ’s home production Om Shanti Om had spoofed some of the Bollywood veterans and now it is SRK who finds himself at the receiving end in the recently released ‘Halla Bol’Ajay Devgan ’s character in the film mocks Bollywood stars who endorse products just for the sake of big bucks without caring to use the product themselves.
The allusion becomes clearer when Devgan spoofs SRK and mimics him, saying: “Thanda Thanda, Cool Cool.” Which is the punchline for an advertisement of Navratna oil that was endorsed by Shahrukh Khan.
Devgan carries the joke further by ridiculing the stars who dance at weddings of rich people for money, which again, is an indirect potshot at SRK who is known to have danced at some high profile weddings.
The Amisha Patel – Vikram Bhatt split
Another real long running love story of Bollywood has come to an end. Actress Amisha Patel has reportedly broken off from her longtime boyfriend Vikram Bhatt. It is believed that the reason behind the split is another man in Amisha’s life. The actress is currently seeing a London based businessman Kanav Puri. It was Amisha’s growing closeness to Kanav that reportedly created the rift in her four-year-long relationship with Vikram.

Movie Review – ‘Halla Bol’ – Released 11th Jan
‘Halla Bol’ continues the trend of cinema activism started by ‘Rang De Basanti’ a few years back. 'Halla Bol' not just entertains you but also makes you think. It asks for a social uprising against 'the wrong' that we see around us. The film ridicules film stars who sell off their conscience for big-price endorsement ranging from toothpaste to undergarments to hair oil etc.
Halla Bol is definitely worth a 'good' watch.

Shilpa is back in India after her much talked about three-month tour to Europe. Maintaining her image of an ambassador of Indian values and traditions, she will soon play the role of goddess Sita in an international venture.
Shilpa would now feature in an international venture 'Hanuman' being produced by US-based Uru Patel. She would be portraying goddess Sita in the film.
Isha Kopikar in a hot bathtub scene
Actress Isha Koppikar will appear in a hot intimate bathtub scene with her co-star in the upcoming film Right Or Wrong. The scene shows Isha and co-star Arav Chowdhry (New actor) lying face-to-face in a bathtub. Isha raises her bare leg from the foam and begins caressing Arav’s bare chest with the toe of her foot.
Isha was made to wear minimal clothes that were covered with foam to give the impression of nudity.

Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu celebrated her birthday on 7th January with boyfriend and soon to be fiancé John Abraham.
Bipasha told a tabloid that she will be spending the big day on the beaches of Goa enjoying Goan food and then indulge in a spa treatment. They will fly back to Mumbai on the 8th and continue the celebrations with friends and family.

Saif Ali Khan has found the most unique way to announce his true love. He has reportedly got his latest girlfriend Kareena Kapoor’s name tattooed on his forearm. He sat for a two-three hour session to get Kareena’s name tattooed in Devnagri, an ancient Indian language script.
Currently Saif and Kareena are in Greece for a holiday.
Pop Diva Madonna was in India recently for a one-week holiday and was really charmed by the Rajasthani folk music. She specially liked the song ‘Nimbura Nimbura’ and might make a remake of it in English.
The same song was a popular hit with Aishwarya dancing along with Salman Khan in the blockbuster film ‘Hum dil de chuke sanam’.
