Recently the Health Minister requested the top Bollywood stars to quit smoking on screen, as a measure to discourage smoking amongst the youth of India. Aishwarya Rai missed an opportunity to sing in ‘Jodha Akbar’
The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai was supposed to record a devotional song in her own voice in the upcoming mega release ‘Jodha Akbar’. Composer A R Rahman confirmed saying, "Ashutosh Gowarikar (Director of the film) strongly felt that Aishwarya could record the song in her own voice, as a bonus for her fans." Unfortunately Ash was extremely busy and did not find time to record when Rahman was available.

Salman Khan joined the A-list of heroes at Madame Tussaud's museum, unveiling a wax double of himself before hundreds of adoring fans. Salman's muscular statue was dressed in a black sleeveless T-shirt and black denims, donated by the star.
Taking a light-hearted dig at his fellow-Mumbai stars, Salman said: "Very few Indians have the privilege and it feels good to be a part of it. We have Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya, Shah Rukh and I think I am the third most deserving in the museum."

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan ’s home production Om Shanti Om had spoofed some of the Bollywood veterans and now it is SRK who finds himself at the receiving end in the recently released ‘Halla Bol’Ajay Devgan ’s character in the film mocks Bollywood stars who endorse products just for the sake of big bucks without caring to use the product themselves.
The allusion becomes clearer when Devgan spoofs SRK and mimics him, saying: “Thanda Thanda, Cool Cool.” Which is the punchline for an advertisement of Navratna oil that was endorsed by Shahrukh Khan.
Devgan carries the joke further by ridiculing the stars who dance at weddings of rich people for money, which again, is an indirect potshot at SRK who is known to have danced at some high profile weddings.
The Amisha Patel – Vikram Bhatt split
Another real long running love story of Bollywood has come to an end. Actress Amisha Patel has reportedly broken off from her longtime boyfriend Vikram Bhatt. It is believed that the reason behind the split is another man in Amisha’s life. The actress is currently seeing a London based businessman Kanav Puri. It was Amisha’s growing closeness to Kanav that reportedly created the rift in her four-year-long relationship with Vikram.

Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu celebrated her birthday on 7th January with boyfriend and soon to be fiancé John Abraham.
